The previous website Stella had wasn't fully showcasing the wealth of knowledge and value they provide those they work with in the best way, so the name of the game was getting all the basics of My Gold Standard out on paper and to explore from there. We knew visitors may be coming to the site with some preconceived notions, beliefs, etc. surrounding money and their finances, and we had to make sure they left the site knowing exactly what makes working with Stella different than more traditional routes or alternatives.

Erica reached out because she wanted to overhaul her website and find a better way for potential clients to get to know her, her work, and the detailed care that she dedicates to each project.

For the brand identity, we wanted to explore ideas of balance, contrast, and engagement, so varying weights and widths of typography were implemented as well as smooth curves and swoops.

For the website, we let the images of Vanessa's work be the center of attention was the primary focus, while making it easy for potential clients to understand what goes into working with her and what makes her work unique.

The goal was to find a visual way to covey to the target audience feelings of ease, confidence, clarity when working with the brand, so specific care and attention was taken to each piece in the suite to make sure everything was designed to be approachable, gender neutral and legible. Sharp angles balanced with smooth curved letters kept everything in alignment and harmonious when paired with a bright and energetic color palette - these new tools in the Capital Department brand arsenal now give them the confidence to keep kicking down doors in their industry.
