A minimalist and elegant Webflow website for heart-led brand identtiy and web design studio.
Stefani and I have been in community with each other for a long time, so I was honored when we asked me to collaborate on the development of her studio’s new design on Webflow.

The primary feelings we wanted to convey with this site were calmness and ease. Ease of use, ease of navigation, and ease of having the best understanding of Stefani’s capabilities and the stellar work she’s done in her studio over the last 10+ years. With subtle animations, smooth interactions, and a dark mode function, we created just that - a place where the December Oak overall ethos is at apprant at every scroll: how can we create an elegant and calm environment for viewers while still engaging them and persuading them to continue exploring?
Stefani is an absolute pro at designing those sort of experiences for herself and her clients, and it was an honor to help bring it to live technically.
Getting the mechanics down for the dark mode feature of the site as well as the toggle was super fun. Webflow variables thankfully made it easy and with a bit of javascript we were able to add an additional bit of accessibility through the dark mode feature which felt great.My favorite page to develop was definitely the Investment Guide. Horizontal scrolling sections are fun to create despite being a bit tedious to figure out initially. Such a fun build!
