A clean and structural Webflow development for a boutique bed and breakfast in the heart of Detroit’s Little Village

Stefani from December Oak reached for help developing this minimalistic but beautifully designed website on Webflow for a local client of hers. With subtle interactions, large scale images, and clean lines, this site let’s the beauty of the property and it’s environment shine on every page.

Standout Features

The subtle and smooth hover interactions throughout the site give such a tasteful feel to the whole site. Animations can easily become overdone, so Stefani and I made it a point to keep things simple but not so simple that the site feels like a huge PDF the visitor just scrolls through. The selected artworks section of the gallery page was a favorite to develop. The hover interactions took a lot of finetuning to get right, and they add a really amazing way to highlight the art pieces as the user hovers over each.
